This was a rare day for us, we got very lucky that there was quite a bit of flying for just one day. Based on our experience, it's a fantastic day if the number of passes breaks double digits for an entire day. :)

On November 2016 we decided to take a trip out to Father Crowley Point to watch the military jets fly low level through Rainbow Canyon. The canyon is known to pilots as the Jedi Transition, or Star Wars Canyon, and it is part of a low level flying route called Sidewinder.

In this video some of the pilots spotted us, and came back around for more passes.

This video is of the passes of the CAG Planes and other F-18s in special paint schemes.

On September 21-23, 2015 we decided to take a trip out to Father Crowley Point to watch the military jets fly low level through Rainbow Canyon. As a bonus, we saw an AWACS getting refueled for the Green Flag exercise from Nellis AFB.
